Something odd happened
so this is because of fuel pump? same thing happen to me and the gto guy just looked at me like i don't know how to drive. there is a tsb on this? i will definitely do this if they replace it with gt 500 fuel pump.
man this is crazy! my car just started acting up like this today!! It wasn't a long drive though. I don't know what the dealership will do I have alot crap on my car. It like cut out in the begining of acceleration. Weird can't explain it.

I know exactly what you are talking about. I had the same problem last Thursday. I dropped my stang into 2nd gear to pass some cars and be able to get onto the highway entrance ramp. Well my stang redlined and then went dead real quickly. It did exactly as you described. It was as if the engine cut off for a couple seconds. This is not the TSB problem that everyone is describing. It made me nervous, but there's really nothing I can do. Only thing I can think of is that the govenor kicked in and shut the engine off........I dunno either man.....

sounds like it could be a normal occurrance, you hitting the rev limiter in second, then shifting and having it hesitate could all be related. I would guess that the limiter had not yet kicked off when you shifted, and it was still "limiting".
I get the same problem as well.
Clintoris, I see you have good access to TSB's. There is one for GT's that are having problems with the A/C not blowing cold air. Do you know which one that is and would you have a copy of it? Thanks
