If one more person compares them to GTO rims I'm going to have a stroke
Sorry. It's true. I'm thinking about buying and 18" set of bullitts or torque thrusts. those look like shelby wheels. I don't see the similarity with the '66 wheels. There are a lot of five spoke wheels out there. And that's about all these have in common.

Now that I have the car with fanblades, not bling at all. Perfect for the car. 64W Bullitts look great also now that I've seen them. Anyway, very happy with the blades.

wheels are just another personal preference, like color. And along those lines, I think I like the choices ford offered- BUT(theres always a but) to me wheels need a inch or two of 'depth' or they remind me of a hubcap. for the last decade or so, the flat faced look 'is in', but its just not for me. I think a set of torq-thrust wheels with a couple inches of bright rim are perfect...I prefer blue cars too, but gotta admit, I think 'redfire' is probably one of the most universally 'pretty' colors for these cars.
We made a few sets of forged prototypes of the 'fanblade' wheels a few years ago, and I really didnt like them...very flat and very heavy...seing them on the car though, they look pretty good.(I think production wheels ended up cast? feel behind a spoke- if its recessed, its cast).

the 'bling' term is like 'retro' to me...dont care for the terms, and dont think either apply to anything ford offers on the mustang- but its kinda common meaning to most folks. 'bling' = lots of chrome/shiny/reflective/crow attracting bits, and 'retro' = anything that dont look like a honda, or bears any kind of resemblance to something that looks good.

I just hope to never see a set of spinner hubcaps on a mustang with clear lensed taillamps, but you know its coming sooner or later.

In my opinion rimms are only bling (read ugly) when they are 22' and spin, and no I don't mean spinners but full rotation while stopped. So the blades are not bling.

Don't come to where I am in NJ then the road is full of them, not 05-06's though; it's the poor fate of the 99-04 stangs. The poor things I almost could start a "save NJ stangs" fund.
