More Bling???

I'm posting cause I need all your advice.

my dad who loves my car ever since I bought, knows I go to car shows. He tells me that I need "More Bling" under the hood of the car. He was looking around one time when I away and he looked up the scott drake parts, mainly all the caps and he found the MGW caps as well but likes the scott drake ones.

Opinion to all of you? are all these caps really worth it? anyone have the scott drake ones? I'm thinking partially yea I want a little more bling, but not too much. the only other bling I'll be doing to the vehicle is ripping off those crappy valve covers and getting them powder coated a silver or a reflective chrome after all ford nationals in carlisle pa in 2 weeks.

so guys, question, yay or nay?

about 1000X better than the mgw stuff. look like they actually work instead of just looking funky which i think all the mgw stuff does

I have the entire Scott Drake cap set. The quality is great and I am happy with them. The oil dipstick handle fits a bit tight, but that is it. Scott Drake has been around for a long time make parts for vintage Mustangs and has a reputation for quality parts.

hmmmm, looks like I'll be buying the whole package deal, I'll need to order and extra radiator cap for the s/c intercooler, not sure if its the same cap size as the stock radiator one, I'll have to check it when I get home.

I like the Scott Drake stuff as well, but with your Ford Racing set up the Ford Racing Caps may add more consistency to your "Bling" thats what I am considering anyway.

the cap itself will fit. The problem is there is a 16 psi cap on the stock radiator and a 10 psi cap on the intercooler. I bought the Ford Racing Radiator caps and took 1 apart. You can use an allen wrench to separate the billet cap from the radiator cap...from there I just drilled 2 holes in my intercooler cap and screwed it on!

Check out the Ford Racing Catalogue pages 118 to 123. Not a big selection but its something to start with, I thought I saw more on another site if I locate it I'll let you know..
