Dan, I beat you to it.
Unforunately this IRS topic has turned into what every other IRS thread has become.
We all know the reasons why the solid axle is there, and I am positive that it will not hinder sales, because it hasn't done so yet.
Like boomer said, you can't have a 550Hp, 6-speed SMG, IRS Mustang GT for $20K, its just not going to happen. Some people as what cars have solid axles over $16K, well I ask them to name a RWD V8 perfromance car under 30K? obviously there is only one.
For the price, you will not find a better performance value out there, obviously there are some tradeoffs, if you can't deal with it or want more, buy a Cobra.
