This is the only interior pic I could find of the interior without the Interior Upgrade Package. Are there any more????

Edit: Also will the My Color feature be available without getting the IUP???

 

Everything I have read says the only way to get my color is with the IUP and the aluminum dash.

 

I was just looking at the picture and it seems there is a control stick on the right side of the steering column. I have seen one on the left side too.

Is there two? If so why, the lights are on the dash and the cruise control is on the wheel. What else is there beside the wipers and the turn signals?

 

I think the one on the left side is high beams?

 

The left lever is for turn signals and high beams. The right one controls the windshield wiper and washer.

What is IUP?

Interior Update Package? If so, it is a new car, so what gets "updated"?

 

Looks great without the Aluminum trim, basic, but good and clean.

Now if we can just find a way to darken chrome bezel around the gauges and vents, maybe a black chrome or matte brush aluminum or stainless, the chrome will get your eyes in the sun...

 

B) Nah, just wear sunglasses.....you'll look cool and so will the mustang.

 

When I get mine, the only things that matter to me are leather (no color preference) and the IUP. That shift **** just looks so cheezy to me. Don't get me wrong...nice interior for a low price, but the IUP is so much classier.

 

I do like the all black steering wheel better.

 

It's Interior Upgrade Package. I think both look very smooth and clean. Personally I'm getting the IUP so that I can get the Color Accent Package (red leather!).

 

Think the IUP will look great! But, whatever floats your boat. :P

 

IUP adds the aluminum trim on the dash, two gauges on the instrument panel and My Color lights in the dash.

 

I care less about the aluminum.......I just want My color.

Know what I could use? A couple hidey holes in it. I have one between the visors for sunglasses and garage openers and one under the stereo for bubble gum and pens and stereo remotes and such. And also a good cupholder that holds a 20 ounce coke comfortably without slinging it out when you hotrod around a turn.

 

When I was in the GT at the Vancouver Stampede I was looking for the same thing

The pocket in the center column at the back is a VERY deep storage compartment, best of all it has a lighter plug in so you can hook your phone up and hide it in the storage compartment while charging (if you don't want it out). The glove box is deep but not very tall. Lastly the cup holders should take the 20oz no problem. They are the same size as the ones in the Escape.

 

IUP adds MyColor, two gauges and the message center. Do not forget that. No IUP = no gas mileage, stopwatch, self-diagnosis, etc.

 

Thats why they need options for everything!

I also like the look w/o the Aluminium dash... but losing out on all those other things... it just leaves me in the dark.

 

i like the aluminum dash...but it's all prefrence.
