Any ford parts personnell, would you mind looking up the right part number for the smokers kit in a 05 mustang gt. I have part number 5l8j-7804803-b. I dont believe it is the right kit. I was told there was a part number that ends with and -a instead of b. If anyone can tell me the difference or if the kit I have is incorrect please do so. The parts guy said they didnt have an -a kit and was going to try and put in the -b kit which I dont think is correct. Thanks for any help. It also says it is a universal kit. I want the one for mustang, not universal. thanks again.

Haven't you heard??? It's against the law to smoke in one of these cars.

We can set you up with a nice sand filled flower pot though if you like.

Hey Dan, why the smokers package if you don't smoke?? Am I missing something or are you just getting a lighter and an ash tray?

just getting a lighter and ashtray, that is what the smokers kit is. I just like to have that stuff in my cars. I hate the fact they dont make cars with them anymore. I just like to have them.

No wonder you have so many posts altoid. Most of them it seems, like sarcasm or just useless thoughts. Isn't there something else you need or want to do. I come here to read and post, but try to be informative or learn from others. It seems you just post for the heck of it. Man I am glad I got better things to do than just be sarcastic about other peoples posts.

Sodaman... not trying to give you a hard time here, but why get the smoker's kit if you don't smoke yourself. That would just be encouraging others to smoke in your car. I have seen too many cigarette burns on car seats, floors, consoles, etc. Not to mention the permanent smell it makes and the smoke can even stain things yellow in your car, hurting the value. Even if I did smoke, I would never smoke in my car and I would absolutely NEVER let anyone else get in my car with a cigarette. Too scary. Accidents happen. And if you put a lighter and ashtray in your car, you are allowing the possibility of them happening in your car.

I couldn't agree more. I don't think I've ever seen a post from Altoid that had more than 10 words, and wasn't sarcastic or something completely useless. Anyone know how how to put a user on ignore? There are too many members and posts out there now to be wasting time and screen space reading mindless comments.

I can see the use of the smokers package just ot have the ashtray to put change in. My change always falls out of the coin hlders inside the arm rest and rolls around....I hate that.

I dont use both cup holders anyway, so the ashtray there for change would be a great idea.
