Shaker on top of M90?

With temps in the low teens, over a foot of snow on the ground and the Mustangs sitting in the garage waiting for the temps to warm... the mod bug is starting to crawl around and bite some more.

Wondering if anyone has placed a shaker unit onto the M90? I know Saleen has a combo on one of their superchargers, but have not located info/pics of an M90 unit with a shaker attached.

Not looking for 'RAMAIR' obviously, just a little rock n roll through the hood. Anyone have a shaker set-up not being used? May buy to mock up a fit/function possibility...

Don't need/want expensive... even the 03/04 Mach 1 unit for mock-up would do.

Thanks...

If your airbox is still in the drivers/front corner, a fang/aeroform might fit- i got mine without the engine cover/mount, bought their blockoff plate( for their mach1scoop), machined the cast shaker scoop mounts down, fabbed a metal plate to sandwich a 3/8 rubber seal under the scoop, molded glass standoffs to the block off plate, and have a functional/ non- shaking shaker... With room underneath for a blower someday. The way fang designed their hood, it has a hollow tunnel that ducts scoop air to the airbox- the thing looks insanely restrictive, really doubt it added any power at all, but you can definitely hear the difference in intake sound, so maybe it does something...

Do know one thing- glass hoods weigh a ton compared to the near weightless stock aluminum hood- guess only, but bet its like 60# vs 10#, and bolting the scoop to it makes gas struts a non option- from what im told anyways, still using the prop rod...

Thinking more along the line of opening the hood above the blower, attaching the shaker to the blower itself in some fashion fabbing a seal that will flex and allow the shaker to wiggle, jiggle and shake as the pedal gets mashed. Do not need to bother with the air intake. Again, more show than function....
