I talked to my source for information and I can GUARANTEE the issues with the Shaker systems spitting out/randomly disliking CDs is being addressed. Also, I showed them the thread titled "All Shaker Systems Bad?" and they actually took that back to AAI to help push the issue. Isn't it nice to know that people speaking up makes a difference.

For future reference - If someone has an issue, PLEASE start a new topic on it. If it ends up being a big problem, the SQA department at AAI can look at it.

Just thought I'd try and help everyone out. PM me if you've got questions.

-Steve

Great news! I was beginning to think that I wasted my money on the Shaker after I placed the order for the car.

That is good news! I'm on my second Shaker 500, and am glad it's being addressed since it's still causing me problems.

Exact reason why I told FORD not to replace mine yet because I knew FORD would have to take care of the problem itself before giving me another bum deck.

Maybe this will silence the people who say "stop whining and deal with it". This is good news.

Thank you, this makes things easier to address. I guess the only way theyre going to learn is to hear from actual experiences on the road. I should have some type of update here in the next week or so, so keep posted.

That's awesome! I'll be ordering in January, and hopefully they'll have the kinks worked out by then.

That's good to hear. I wonder what the Ford execs that come lurk here think of all these problems being brought up on this forum?

I wonder if FORD will be sending out a notification to all of the current stang owners that they head units are recalled (that is if they recall them).

I doubt that you will see a recall of the Shaker head units, but its still too early to tell.
