I have all kinds of guns, belong to the local range to. I came from pa to nj. I don't see what all this anti gun bs is about. Al my friends over here have guns.. Only thing I can't do in jersey is legally carry one. But thats not a problem cause where we live , don't *NEED* too like in Philly

South Jersey isn't the same as North Jersey. NJ also has a capacity limit on magazines IIRC, and deer guns aren't the same as the guns that I like (AR15 w/ all the evil features).

If you can't legally carry one in New Jersey, how do you get to use it or practice with it??

Currently live in Arizona. No problems out here. Except for Obama and Pelosi trying to screw it up.

A carry license means you carry on your person. In Nj all you do is to have the gun and ammo locked up in separate cases and in the trunk to transport. Just like in pa if you don't have a ccw (carry license)

We have to do that for rifles and pistols in MI but only for transport for lawful / sporting purposes. We have shall-issue CCW, but you can't carry inside schools or most businesses. Indiana's CCWs are lifetime if I recall correctly. The funny part about MI law is that my FN PS90 is considered a pistol, the same goes for the FN FS2000 and AK folders.

Yeah, but try finding a holster for them

Have a AR15 pistol, that I could easily conceal under a parka

MI is an open carry state (no CCW required) but w/o a CCW, you have to transport them with the ammo in a separate case in your trunk. So technically with a CCW, you could open carry your FS2000 (or quasi-conceal it) and put it on your passenger seat just in case. MSP doesn't recommend this because it'll freak people out, but it looks ok by the book.

What kind of AR15 pistol do you have? I love AR15s, I've got a 16" M4gery and a 24" heavy-barrel.

It's a carbon industries, if I remember right, they were bought out by Bushmaster a while back. Stopped working the last time I had it out, it has no forward assist and the bolt wouldn't fully go into battery. Gotta take it back to the gunsmith that worked on it last time. Would love to get one of the new piston rifles though, the S&W or Ruger look great.
