Vehicles tha were ordered with an order code 1, x, a won't show up on a locate system unless they rmain in inventory, unsold, for more than 30 (possibly 60) days. Any that show on the locator weren't originally ordered as sold units but may be sold prior to arrival.

 

I just called 5 dealers in the DFW area and the best response I got was a black GT expected in tomorrow in Frisco. That car is already sold. The dealer in Carrollton talked how they are getting the largest allocation in Texas with one of each color. They expect their cars by the end of the month. My dealer was not in, but the pretty thing that answers the phone says within the week "cause we just got lots of brochures in" I will be calling my guy first thing in the morning. Thank God for Xplan cause I could hear the excitement in the dealers voice about selling these babies$$$$$$$ Have a good one,

I ran into the same thing. A dealer I THOUGHT was pretty good told me today that even though they don't have any yet, they'll be selling them for $5K over MSRP BUT if I order one, they'll make me a special deal of ONLY $1K over MSRP. I laughed and said "I have X-Plan" and there was dead silence on the other end. I think I'll just wait until the fever dies down and then start looking. I have a feeling alot of X-Plan purchases are going to be declined until then.

 

The dealer in Frisco, TX told me 30 minutes ago they had a black GT coming in tomorrow, but it was sold. She just left me a voice mail that they just unloaded it from the truck and it is very nice. She then says first come first served and to come by when they open at 8 and it can be mine. Someone is going to be angry. I am waiting on a silver preorder, but asked her about the black one because it was on the dealer inventory. Anyone in DFW wanting a black GT should hurry to Frisco. Later,

Clarke Ford in Hudson Ohio claims to have 3 on their lot. Two GT's, one black,one silver and one yellow V6. I will be making a drive tomorrow morning to see for myself.
