Not necessarily corect. I have made deposits on vehicles past (GM vehicles....gag!) that were showing up in the dealer inventory but had not yet arrived. In fact, I believe is it quite common for cars to show up in dealer inventories as soon as they've been released from the plant.
just my .02 EDIT: and everyone elses, it would seem

Only a V6 but still it shows in inventory. And yes if it shows in inventory then it is on the lot, otherwise false advertising.

Just called my local ford dealer, forddirect said they have one. They said they are waiting for the truck... He'll call when it gets there. Hopefully, I'll be one of thousands tomorrow who upload pics.

The dealer I called just called me back with more information. The salesmen said they're on they way and should arrive any day now. She also said, now get this, they're selling for MSRP + $5,000 but if I came in an ordered one, they'd make me a special deal for MSRP + $1,000! I said "but I have X-plan". You should have heard the disappointment in her voice! Screw that dealer! :notnice: When I'm ready to buy, I'm going somewhere else.

Yes it should show up. It is up to the dealer to flag it as being sold.

If someone finds theirs, that means it's time for me to call the dealer and see what they say.
Thanks

Good luck, hope he doesn't need a kick in the ding ding. There's one showing up in the search near me, but I'm not even interested in going over there and looking seeing how I can't get one right now anyway. Heck I'm still holding out for a SE.

I just spoke with my dealer to check status of my car. Dealer ordered mine, and one for stock (Legend Lime). He is able to tell that both have been built, but not able to tell where either one is -- the Legend Lime shows being in dealer inventory, but they haven't received anything yet. I hope this means they're on the way! This is so-o-o-o-o-o exciting; I wonder if there will be a letdown when we all get our Mustangs!

Okay, I wish I had better news. I just drove a total of 3 hours to be told once I was there:
A) You're getting like 2,000 less on your trade than you expected
And
B) We're putting a $3,000 pricing addendum on the car. If you want it, it's $31,000
I dickered with this idiot for about 15 minutes. I wrote my number on the paper and said there it is...we can sign the deal right now. F'er wouldn't budge.
STILL SEARCHING AND FRUSTRATED!!

It ammends the site at the same rate FMCDealer puts up invoices online. Its usually after the dealer has recieved thier invoices and they are entered in the system, the vehicles usually follow about a week or so after. So it may not be there, but they represent 'real' vehicles that the dealer will get. I put an invoice up on another thread so you can check out the differences for x and a plans, which were not released in the price lists.
