Do yourself a favor and buy the X2. I have the X3, and although mine works, everyone I have talked to (dealers) are not going to be using them, until all the bugs are fixed.
There is just to many little glitches. Like making one adjustment and seeing about 7 or 8 things change, that shouldnt change.

The X3 is an over all better product, data logging, bigger screen more memory, and the ability to do multiple logs. It is also a faster product thent he X2. The X3 has the advantage of being based off the X2 and has all the programing bugs worked out of it. The X2 randomly deactived some safety issues on the modular motors, the x3 uses these for the baseline and have to be deactivated unlike activated on the x2. Overall the x3 is basically the next step up, but the x2 is not a bad product. if you are looking the best tuner I recommend the X3 for those of you looking for a custom DYNO tune, if you are a do it yourselfer the livewire or the x2 is less complex.

Dear Colby, thanks for the concern, but I guess it depends on who you have tuning your car I have dyno tuned, about 200 cars with the X3 over the past couple months, the support from SCT has been outstanding, I have had only minor issues, and no "bugs" or issues with the X3, compared to the numerous issues I have had with the X2. Most of which were learning issues on my end getting comfortable with the equipment. For dyno tuning I recommend the X3 in my mind its just a better product when compared side by side with the X2. I support all the SCT products!

Dear NiteHawk. Thank you for that lovely poem. lol...So since you have tuned so many cars and sound as if you know the tuner really well, are you able to take phone calls for questions about the X3?
Maybe you have the only one that works 100%. For the record, mine downloaded the tunes correctly the first time. The problem has been with the adjustments as well as it wanting to upload the stock tune everytime I try to download an updated tune. Not to mention there is no safety feature for over-writing your stock tune with a custom tune.
P.S. I did think it was sweet you said "Dear".. LMAO
