Those with HID issues should contact Saleen's Warranty Department and report their concern.

It is my understanding they are working on this issue.

Good luck guys... don't expect anything from Saleen for a looooonnng time. And the BBB, no point in contacting them, they already have an F, what more does Saleen have to lose?

i have contacted the warranty department, i have gotten mine changed out already once. what is the point of having to do that again, just to have the reflectors burn up? i guess i will call monday and find out if they actually have come out with updated ones yet.

They pretty much told me tough luck when I called months ago. I doubt anything has changed up I'm going to try again this week.

Not only did I call (Last November) I even was invited down to Saleen's Irvine facility so they could "inspect my installation" and investigate the possible source of the problem.

I was invited by "Craig Parker" at 949-597-4900. He implied in our conversation that something would be done about the headlight issue, and even offered a tour of the facility while I was there.

I did go down on the appointed day (took a day off work), and "Craig Parker" wasn't there. Not only wasn't he there, but no one knew about the inspection that was to take place either. After cooling my heels in the lobby for over an hour, someone finally came up, took my car through the inspection, and when I questioned about whether or not they would replace the headlight assemblies they hemmed and hawed, and then told me I would "hear from them in a couple of weeks."

They would not return any messages from me and I never heard from them again.

I paid $1200 for these headlights. I expect them to work, and work correctly for that kind of money. "Saleen" and "customer service" are two mutually exclusive terms and after my experience their credibility is completely shattered.

As long as they are under warranty with a Saleen vehicle you can go to your Ford Saleen Dealer and file a warranty claim.

If you purchased them aftermarket, they have a 12 month, 12k mile warranty.

Call 949-597-4900 if you have any problems -- you might need to be a little patient as they've been going through some staffing changes.

Well, any warranty that existed is long past thanks to Saleen's stalling and failure to address the issues in a timely manner.

Thanks for nothing, guys.
