I went to the dealer the other night and saw the V6 version of this car. Don't get me wrong, I love the stang and the body has been designed flawlessly by the engineers, but there looks to be enough room in the V6 wheel well to put 23'' rims! The V6 rims are swallowed by the amount of tire that has been put on them....I have not seen a GT in person yet, but can someone who has seen both the GT and V6 side by side tell me if the bullet rims do anything to hide all the space in the wheel well? I'm hoping The GT bullet wheels with a possibly lower ( I don't know if the GT has a lower suspension) will make up for this....Please tell me they do because this car is huge like a dodge intrepid and has wheel wells larger then a crown vic.....

i will agree with you, the ride height in the back of both models is ridiculously high, hopefully if you add springs the whole back end will look better

So the GT ride height, is it as bad as the V6? The black photos I have seen seem to hide how high the cars are.....Did the GT stll have the SUV ride height? If so, I feel a car shouldn't have to be altered from factory condition to look normal. If someone wants an SUV ride height let them jack up the suspension. I mean, I understand people wanting to personalize their stangs. but a 60's stang looked good right out of the box and didn't need adjustments to look normal. Seriously, for those who have not seen the V6 in person, this baby is on stilts with platform shoes....I hoping someone else who has seen both GT and V6 can tell me the GT looks better in this department. I have been wanting a GT for over a year now and when I went to see the V6 stang this was a huge issue......Anyone who has seen the GT let me know in comparison to the V6.... :bang:

Does anyone think that these would fit back and front to correct the problem if there is one ?

Ford builds their cars so you can put tire chains on them. This neccesitates a huge gap. It will need BIG wheels or a drop or both to look right IMO.

Put some eibach springs on it 1 1/2 inches drop good ride quality and major handling improvement, usually first mod to all my stangs. Really makes the car look great.
