Ordered my car months ago, still haven't recieved VIN number and was told today that the car hasn't even started to be built yet. They also claim that no one has GTs yet and when I told them that they were the only dealer without a car yet they pretty much treated me like I was lying and dismissed it and would not be any further help to acquiring my car sooner.

Both Coorperative and call me back regularly to try to get me into new car but Unfortunately have small amount coming in and hardly any GTs especially manuals, and several already spoken for. But still very polite and upfront about it, no BS.

THUMBS UP X2
Really nice, got back to me right away when they found out their inventory and what I was looking for. Unfortunately don't have what I want and will be a while before they even get any more GTs in, but where honest and refered me elsewhere, to get my car sooner.

All their Stangs will be preorders until Mid November, giving those that have ordered them first dibs at the car and are not jacking up there prices, and are very cooperative and upfront and honest. Also informed about what they have and what they are getting, not like most dealers.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Huge inventory, they have 200 Stangs coming in by the end of November. Of course they are all going quickly, but schedule appointments to put down on exactly what you want and dont have to wait to order since they have such a huge selection already ordered. Very nice and helpful, and knowledgable. Fast, courtious, kind and reliable. Call back to make sure is everything is still running smoothe and are readily available for assistance whenever needed. GREAT PEOPLE. No wonder they are number 1.

Great guy - No hassle.
Gives stangs away at invoice plus 100 bucks for his own processing fees.
No catch.

TN - Memphis
Landers Ford

Says they'll beat the above listed price.
About to head out there -- we'll see if they do a better job -- if they do I am ordering today.
Where in Ms is Community Ford?

thanks

PARK FORD, Tallmadge

THUMBSUP.

Initially went in and signed contract for msrp or z-plan...They didn't know if they were doing any plans at the time... A few weeks ago they said they were going to do the plans and that a new customer was worth more than a few thousand to begin with. Mine is on quality hold still but dealer has been checking frequently...Dealer also gave me the commercial disk for the cornfield/mcqueen commercials to make copies of....GREAT DEALER and nice salesmen(at least the ones I have dealt with which have been numerous lately with my frequent visits).
So is the complete commercial on it? Ill have to dig one up around the dealer then. If it IS the full commercial, why the HECK is it not here? [/b][/quote]
stinker is huge, something like 256,000 kb. I'm on dial-up (until tomorrow) so downloading is next to impossible...Yep, it's the full blown commercial...Really tingles the body when you see Mcqueen "walking out of the cornfield and up the track to get the keys". Other than that I'm not sure why it's not here yet since anybody can go to a dealer and at least view it. ALso included in the file is the anthem commercial...Can't seem to break it out of the dvd file but also not used to DVD formats yet.

Thumbs up!
In an earlier post, I bashed these guys a little for not being good about calling me back with status. In the last two weeks before the vehicle arrived, they got a lot better about calling back and sharing information. Some of their information was bad - they stuck to a build date of 8/31 when it was really 10/11 - but it appears that the bad info came from Ford. They called me the minute the car arrived, obeyed my wishes to not drill the front bumper or put stickers on the paint, handled my A-plan purchase very professionally, did not let anyone else drive the vehicle, and were very enthusiatic in general. At the end, I was satisfied with the treatment I received.

Galpin is fargin insane! I'd love to spend a day at a dealer that moves as much as 2500 cars a month Just to watch the logistics.

I had a heck of a time getting them to give me XPlan. At first, the sales man said, "sure we will give you xplan", then when he brought out the sheet for me to sign, I said, "thats not xplan", he said, "oh yeah, I forgot" and went to get a new one. Another guy, who gave me the estimate on my trade-in, came over, and said, "No dealer will give XPlan on the new mustang for a long time". He was jockeying numbers trying to make me feel like I was still getting a good deal, without it. I said "No way, I know lots of dealers are giving XPlan, I read the forums, I have seen order confirmations online with xplan price". Then I told him "Velde Ford in Vero told me they would sell it xplan." (which is true). Then he went and got the sales manager. Also, during our conversations, it came out that I bought my 02 stang from them, and he came out and said, "Since you are a repeat customer, we will give you xplan". I think it is more because I told him I could and would go to Velde, if he didnt give it to me.

Bottom line - I got a great deal!

Meford Ford

Definitely Thumbsup!

They kept my car inside away from everyone until I was able to pick it up. When I got there to pick it up (they moved it outside that morning to wait for me) there was a huge pink bow on it and they had someone out there guarding my car at all times to make sure no one touched it. The whole transaction went very smoothly, no markups or anything, I paid MSRP like we discussed when I ordered. Everyone at the dealership was real excited, when I drove away everyone that worked there was outside waving goodbye!

Thumbs down

With some of the horror stories of dealer mark-ups/price gouging as well as salesmen not knowing about the cars -I figured I would post something positive that kinda caught me by suprise! B)

Had my car on order since the end of June, just received my VIN # 2weeks ago -getting a little antsy... Just happen to drive by a different dealer the other day that had a Yellow Mustang GT sitting outside. Haivng never seen one in person, I decided to investiigate. It is to be expected that even in the cold a salesmen will approach... me with camera and a copy of my DORA and Jeff(salesman) asking if I would like to take it home B) I chuckled and informed him that I have one on order already. Unlike the BS you hear coming out of some dealers mouths, this guy was knowledgable and honest. Even though he admitted he was more of a truck guy, he was able to answer alot of questions accurately about the Mustang. He even offered a test drive, but I declined, I didn't want to waste anymore of his time... besides, my car will be here soon enough
With all the the dealer mark-ups, I was amazed that they were only asking MSRP!($27,650)
