I have 2 dealerships fighting for my business. One is telling me that the red interior is being delayed in production. First time I have heard this. I am going to try the other dealer to find out. Hope this isn't true.

If anyone has heard this, post it here.

That makes like 6 lies dealers are telling today alone to explain away their reasoning for not having the car yet.

I heard aliens abducted Bill Ford and won't release him until they scrap the mustang program.....

 

I have an '05 GT with Red Interior on order. My dealer told me yesterday that my status has changed from "in production" to "produced". So I'm not sure about this rumor.

 

I think we should make a seperate category for "Delay Rumors"

I think that would get more action that the 2005 category.

 

There were more than several '05s with red interior in full production last week.

 

Don't they realize the more lies they tell, the more we're likely to distrust them? Why can't they just tell the truth and say they're trying to make sure it is close to perfect before they release it, unless that would be another lie?

 

I see way too many similarities between dealers and John Kerry

Well that sounds good to me. I am going to order my GT today. Going to go with the dealer with the most knowledge and $2867 under MSRP. Anyone in Western Canada, go to Richport ford and talk to John Lippold. He will get you the same deal.

I think the biggest delay for Mustangs right now is that the trucks have not yet dropped them off at the dealers. I could be wrong though

 

Well I was just passing slime city, and they were moving the 04s off the front of the lot.
I got all excited-
then I passed by and noticed they were just moving them onto the grass for a look at me come on and get one closer look from the road. for getting me excited.

 

I called my dealer today to get an update and even the sales manager wasn't available because he was moving cars around. Maybe the dealers are going to suprise us?

 

There has been a delay until December for the Interior Upgrade Package. I have not seen any delay referring specifically to the red interior.

Dont worry, Bush is going to give all the aliens amnesty, so Bill will be able to escape as they celebrate the fact that there crimes wont be prosecuted.

 

The red interior requires the IUP, so I guess you could say the red interior is delayed. It's not "because" of the red interior but it will be delayed.
