Not really sure where to post this so I'll post it here. It not really a big issues but it still bothers me and I would like to know if anyone else has it.

I have to be right next to my car to get the remote lock, unlock, alarm to work.
If I'm more the say 15 feet away it does not work, is everyone’s like this?
I tried my other remote and even swapped out the battery.
In my new Ranger I can be 100 feet away and it works fine. I've questioned the dealer on it twice but they haven’t had much to say other then it works.
I just want to know if this is normal HELP

I just tried mine from inside the house (stang is in the garage) and I could hear the horn after locking the doors. I'm probably at least 30 feet away with a couple walls in between me and the car.

To set the alarm, mine works from about 100 feet, from 3 floors up and across a wide street. The trunk release work from about 50ft away....doors lock and unlock....seems like only around 15ft away.

I think the standard for those things is about 100 feet. That's how my 2 cars work. Granted they're not the same as what you have.

Thanks everybody, I'm going to have a chat with the dealer again then.
That 15 feet is for everything on mine...it really a pain.

At least 100 unobstructed feet for all operations. Well, haven't tried the global windows down at that distance.....

Mine works nuts..Very good.

I can pop the trunk from upstairs, and the mustang sleeps downstairs.
