Rear Window

Early this morning some intoxicated female in an altercaton with an intoxicated male ( girlfriend's son) started throwing rocks at him. She missed the him and hit my mustang. As such I now have five rock chips on the lower left side of the rear window. The paint was not touched. I went to a few glass places to see if the rock chips could be drilled out and filled. I was told that if the rear window was drilled the window will shatter, hence I now have an insurance claim and a new rear window being installed probably next Monday. Well may as well have the car in the pristine condition it was in before the stupidness started. I have the girl's father paying the insurance deductible.

With no window trim around the rear window, this will be an easy replacement and it should be un-noticeable even to the most finnicky eye.

Just so everyone is aware the replacement cost in Canada for the back window in the 05 Mustang is $1895.00 plus gst. Labour at Crystal Glass is $51.00 and the install is 2.5 hours. For a total of $2136.00. There is an additional amount if your replacement requires tinting.
