Does anyone have any information as to what really caused the quality hold issue on the first few thousand Mustangs?

I believe there were no serious problems on those cars at all.

What they probably did was hold the first batch of cars and really looked over them well for any quality issues. That is very typical lately in terms of new car launches.

thanks! I've been wondering about the Quality holds especially since I've seen a couple of Mustangs on the lot with low VINS... B)

Mines low.......well, kinda. 15,550.
