Just curious, the concept was cool but it wasn't until I saw the production model that I got all excitted about the new Mustang.

I don't think I ever saw the concept until after I saw the production unit. Absolutely freaked when I saw the production unit and knew I wanted one. However, after seeing the concept, I would really like to see that hood and taillights used!

I would have bought which ever they made, which is why I choose the production.

I was in a raving depression for weeks. LONG time ago I saw the 2 seat concept, and knew they were changing the body style, Can't have a 2 seater for a few more years..........
WAS SOOOOOOOOO happy when they unveiled the production model!

First car ever I have HAD to have or else. Before I was just like, this ones cute, let me have it.

The concept model sold me, and I would have bought that one. But I did have a few things I wanted to see changed. Mainly the tailights. The tailights were done perfect on the production model and the addition of the inset fogs blew me away. Production model is much much better and I couldn't be happier with my GT.

I wasn't in the market for a new car and I paid zero attention to the prototype (didn't even know there had been one!). That all changed when I saw a nice, black GT at a dealer over Thankgiving. 40 miles of test driving later (mostly in the mountains no less!), I was hooked!

The concept caught my attention, the production model grew on me... originally I didn't care for the side quarter windows... considered the vert because of it... but the fastback look won me over in the long run

The concept had me interested. Though I did not particularly want a 2 seater. The production has me ready to buy.

I don't agree with you guys. The Concept is a beautiful car and I fell in love with it at the Car Show. It was love at first sight, all I did was hang around that car all day. I was very disappointed when the production car came out. The cost cutting was obvious and I am waiting to see if the Cobra or any other SE's come out that look like the concept. Sorry the production car just doesn't cut it for me. :notnice:

The concept showed up on the internet what seems like ions ago. I remember checking the internet everyday to see what new information was available. I decided at least two years ago I was going to buy the 2005 Mustang....low and behold!!!

I liked the tail lights better on the concept, and I also thought those gear track gauges were most awesome. Also wish it was a true two seater, since I don't plan on putting anyone back there anway. All in all, love my GT though. I think it's awesome.

Never hang your hopes on a concept. Any manufacturer will tell you that they hype a car to get you lured but will never look the same when production realizes. Some concept designers are special effects designers for sci-fi movies....hmmmmmm come to think of it, there are concept cars in movies these days, saw it on Discovery channel last week.

Actually, the concept was made after the new Mustang was already designed. I would rather the hood and tail of the concept, especially how the exhaust exits through the bumper. But, if the car was made a 2 seater, I would not own one now.
