GREAT NEWS!!!
Tammy, I can't put into words how happy I am for you and my prayers are that the 'Stang will prove to be problem-free from this point forward. Thank goodness for good dealers and the Ford folks that do care about customer relations.

Thanks guys for all of your support. We toke the Stang for a long ride....since it was a pretty day...and we did not have one problem. She drove so good...tomorrow I am going to give her a "good" washing and a "good" wax. The dealership washed her but they didn't do as well as myself..lol. My husband says I am a perfectionist when it comes to my Stang. I am already looking at some ext. mods for her. I would like a Roush hood scoop and Roush window louvers. I am going to wait until we get back from our cruise in Feb before I start. I am just glad we got her back and running.

Hey everyone here are the results to my longggggg problem...They found the 3rd pcm connected (in the wiring harness) to have a poor connection in the harness and repaired 4 loose ground pins. It was the harness that was going to the box. I have now had her for a week and she is purring like a kitten or should I say a tiger ....lol. I also want to thank everyone one more time for all your concerns and advise. Have a good day

Tammy,

your patience is amazing, glad to hear that you were satisfied with your repair. Ford should work hard to ensure this situation never happens again.

Great News Tammy
Sounds like my Ford Tech x-son-n-law was on the right track, remember one of the posts saying it was a bent pin not making connection. I like the last part that it never gave the owner anymore trouble. Sure hope that is the same for you!
Thanks for updating us and keep while you are :drive:

Dan

Dan,I remember your post about the pin connection, your son in law knows his stuff. I am just glad I have her back and can enjoy driving her again.... :drive: I got a call from the Ford Mustang engineer the other day to check on the matter, and to make sure I am happy with the out come. I told him I was happy to have my Stang back and I was glad he had called and thanked him for all of his help. He wants me to call him in a few months and let him know how the car is doing and give him any updates...I thought that was nice. I also called my dealership and spoke to them and told them I was happy it worked out for the good this time. :cheer: Yeah!!! lol. :P

It really sounds like Ford did it right this time. Too bad it took so long, but I'm glad in the end it worked out okay.
