So do you guys think I have a problem? Here is my Vehicle Order Confirmation (I don't know what day the dealer got the DORA, but I got this on December 7th). Does this mean I get 515 pricing or 540 pricing? The first document is something my dealer gave me a few days ago.

Also, what is this $102 Preparation fee (circled in blue)? The only thing included in our deal back in december was "2000 over invoice". Can they charge this?

You attachment says "invoiced" but when is a car actually "invoiced"? In the VOC is specifically states "Not an Invoice". I need some info about when a car is invoiced just in case they give me a problem.

Mine also says not an invoice, it's cut off at the bottom of the page. If the DORA was issued before the first price change, should I get 515 pricing?

If the vehicle was actually ordered prior to 12/13 you should get the 515 level pricing. As far as the $102 prep charge thats garbage. They get paid by Ford to pdi and fuel the car, that leaves $102 for washing it. I'll wash it twice for that. At $2,000 over they should be able to wash it at no extra cost.

are all these legit? should there be anymore charges after car is delivered? The dealer told me there would be Dock 195 + tax + reg................Is the dock a legit charge?

The doc (or document) fee is somewhat legit. It is a fee the state allows dealers to charge for actually doing the dmv running. In my state, NY, it is capped at $45, in some states I've heard it can be as much as $400.

That is probably for an in-transit permit to drive one from NY to your home state. Won't apply with you.

Maybe because of Christmas shut down, and also there was a period of time a hold was placed on the IUP option. I also, heard of a couple weeks where the spoilers were in short supply. Let's hope they raise the commodities even higher than they are now, then a lot more ordered ones will get pulled.

Just read in another thread titled, "Do these scumbag-delearship stories ever end?", that the dealer is not allowed to charge a doc fee if you ordered xplan. What do you think about it, are they talking about the same thing?

That is correct. They can't charge a doc fee. I'm not sure about the FDA fee though.

Is there a way to find out when the original Dora was made, and would that even matter as far as pricing goes, is it the price that is on the VOC that is important and binding?

Sorry it took so long but I finally found something in writing that show price protection is available. I found it on the dealer website. Hope it's not to late for anyone.
Paul, this is specific to the Feb price increase, do you have the same for the Dec price increase? I am preeparing for the worst case scenario. Thanks, Dave
