So many big pictures...

The 429 has some bad angles on it... Like the front...

Most of that news is promising, although now I'm told I'm playing for the other team so you know. Meh.

I'd like to see the Bronco built ... And, I think Vill is right, the 429 has some odd angles, but in person or in future prototypes, it could be improved.

The 427.

Only one sketch of the futura/400 exists, not one single spy photo. The 400 is supposed to cary 427 cues, but be based on the mazda 6 platform. The 427 is rwd big-v8 sedan. the concept uses the 3.9.

The 500 even was 100 times harder then the stang to get pics of.

Ford knows how to hide what it wants too.
I thought the 427 concept had a 427 v10, not the 3.9?

The 427 engine produces a tremendous 590 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 509 foot-pounds of torque at 5500 rpm. This Ford powerplant about 70 lbs lighter than the 5.4L V8 Mustang Cobra R engine. The 427 achieves this "WTF" power-to-weight ratio through a whole lotta engineering jargon: a Siamese bore aluminum V-10 engine block (based on Ford's modular V-8 DOHC engines), Ford-pioneered metal spray process to maximize the bore at 95mm, newly designed lightweight forged aluminum pistons with a very short compression height, aluminum cylinder head derived from the SVT Cobra R Mustang and new billet H-beam connecting rods, billet steel common pin crankshaft for increased strength without the need for a balance shaft and lightweight hollow stem valves.

blah blah blah, nothing 'inside' about it. 500 shows before the mustang btw.
Did you read "inside" somewhere? [/b][/quote]

yup i was wrong I meant the forty-nine uses one

Everything high end will most likely end up with the 6.2 big-block 8 eventually.

The Bronco ran through 1996. When the F-150 changed body styles in '97, the Bronco didn't, it just died.
The little bronco II died with the explorer 2 door

You are correct.

I was refering to the fullsize, as a previous poster wanted to know if OJ killed the Bronco, and when it was last produced.
