If any of you are here in the DC area, or will be in the area during the first week of June, Here is some info on the Pony Drive I received from the Natl Capitol Region Mustang Club here in the dc/md/va area...Just passing it along...

A few details on the event:

The Great American Pony Drive II is actually a group of Mustang owners who
have been criss-crossing the country. They set out prior to the 40th
anniversary (April 17) and have been on the road since -- when they finish
they will have traveled approx. 10,450 miles. They are scheduled to be here
in the DC area June 1-3 (a few days later than their original schedule). We
will be meeting up with them in Manassas at Battlefield Ford. Ford Motor
Company will be there with the '05 Mustang and Jim O'Connor (Group Vice
President -- North American Marketing and Sales) is scheduled to be there.
There is no official "show" per say, but the Pony Drive Group has approx. 20
core members and we will have at least that many of our local club members
there to greet them. Battlefield Ford will be the host and will be serving
refreshments. Let me know if you need any additional information -- hope to

Im surprised they are stopping by Battlefield. We host a 250+ car show every year for NCRMC in September. The 05's are scheduled to be in the area first few days of June in various locations.
