Great disappointment here as I wanted to tour Flat Rock and have CDC do some installing for me. I have not lost a thing in Ohio so I will not do that part of the run but may go from STL to KC and take in the show. We must not let these little things get in our way of

That is a huge bummer!!! I had seriously considered doing the Pony Drive but couldn't work it out with already scheduled events.
I do think Ford missed a huge PR opportunity in the Pony Drive and is discounting the impact of increasing further the cult following of the Mustang. People who are involved in things like the Pony Drive tend to repeat and multi-car buy from the vendor (see the lesson of Jeep with Camp Jeep, Jeep Jamborees, etc. etc.) the impact of an experience like that carries down to children, and grandchildren, etc.
Oh well, I know the Pony Drive will go on, sorry for those of you who were signed on and aren't going to get the Stang now. Maybe next year!

I really appreciate all the comment I've seen on this and other sites. It has been a lot of work setting this up and still continues to be a lot of work scrambling so that everyone will have a great time. Fortunately, the clubs and dealers have been very supportive and I think everyone that is able to meet up with us for awhile will never regret it! Brad also, has been awsome and not only a good friend but has been a lot of help with using his site and for some of his advice and comments to me.
We started out with a good idea and things did not work out as we had hoped. So many have been disappointed but I will promise to work harder on what is still being planned so that you will continue to come out to as many Pony Drive events as you can! Who knows what we'll be doing for Pony Drive '06!!
