So Bill, are you going to wait until Friday to ask for an update, or Thurs? I think I'll post after K's update on Wed, hoping he'll update on Thurs. Then if nothing, again on Fri. How impatient am I?

Tom - that is so awesome! So you kept it in original working condition? Were you on the force or did you purchase it? Do they not make you remove lights and such? Drive it much? That brings back such bittersweet memories of my '89 LX 5.0 convertible. I just want to touch it!!

Donna - thanks for supporting us "waiters". I checked out some of your links - so the V6 wasn't enough power for you? I love both cars, but on the bellsouth homepage, I wanted to see the before and after, but it looks like the links are broken. Looks like you have tons of fun with your GT!!

Actually Mustang Week last year in Myrtle Beach gave me the GT bug.
I thought I had deleted all my links to the Bellsouth page?? Heres all my pics if you want to look at before and after of both cars.

Looks like you should be able to post... kind of funny that nobody has asked for updates, though.

I called the Analyst and my car (and 459 others) are being held for quality concerns. Great.

Holy COW!! That is not good news. I'll cross my fingers and toes for you that they get this straightened out.

Just something else to worry about. But, I guess it's better than having it shipped out with problems. I have read in Kzinti's posts that whatever it is, they will make it right before shipping.

Ughhh... After 1 model year and several thousand through the line, you would have thought the 'line quality issues' have been all but ironed out. :bang:

I know... My neighbor works for Dodge and he says it still happens all the time with the Big 3. He said they may have pulled a batch of 460 VINs from XXXX to XXXX. Mine might not have an issue at all, so he says to look on the bright side and that my car will get another once over.

I PM'd Kzinti with what I was told, so maybe he can find out more details.

Ya never know!
Don't forget, it's better to be beat by another Pony than a Camaro!

I don't know - the quality stuff on your conv makes me think mine might be slowed down. We shall see.

I doubt it... I'm just "lucky".

I bet you have the same produced, released, and shipped dates.

Just got this email:
>From: "Jessie" <my dealer>
>To: "Chris" <my husband>
>Subject: RE: Dark IUP

>YOUR CAR IS GOING TO BE HERE THE WEEK OF THE 23RD AS OF NOW
>THIS COULD POSSIBLY CHANGE BUT I DONT THINK IT WILL
>
Now, let's just cross our fingers there is no quality hold. I wonder what Kzinti's update will say today?

Whatever Mr K says will most likely go for me too.
