I am a Police Officer in Rhode Island. I have convinced my department to purchase a Mustang GT for a Traffic Division vehicle. I am not sure if it will be new or a late model (2001-04) Stang.

I am looking for photo's of other department's Mustangs.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!

Ordered my GT from Metro ford in Rayhanm. Not far from CT. They do custom work there too and could probably help you. Call Lou Zinella 508 822-1000. Tell him Robyn Prentiss sent you. My husband a retired Seargent and would love to see pics when you get it.

Heres a link to some pics

Good luck! :cop:

I would not recomend the late model.
Spend the extra money and get the '05. I just sold an '03 GT and the difference is like night and day. The '05 rides better and is built MUCH better. Trust me. You would rather spend your 8 or 12 hour shift in the '05.

Doraville, GA has a few Black 01-04 GT's outfitted for fuzz operations. Basically they are solid black, tinted windows, low profiles light bar across the roof, and your standard assortment of strobes in the head and tail lights. I'll see if I can get a picture of one. They usually are at the local carwash place on Friday's getting detailed.

I would suggest that you PM Chazcron (the resident TMS photoshop specialist) and see if he might be able to do a photochop of an 05 Mustang law enforcement edition with your specifications.

:worship: He does the best chops on the planet

This is a link to his recent creations Chazcron Shops

If we help you, does that mean that you'll go easy on us when we speed in your district? Just kidding, I don't speed... Sorry I don't have any advise to offer.

Actually if you were to search around, you'll find one or two 05's that have already been done. I distinctly remember somebody posting a picture of a torch red 05' in patrol ready trim.

I have a question for you! Assuming you're a "statey" as they say in Rhode Island speak, how are you going to fit your head in an 05' with that "Smokey the Bear" hat you guys wear?

The hat can sit in the back seat since not much else will fit there!

You're a police officer?!!....what about confiscated drug dealer cars? I'm sure you could scoop up a Mustang or two...probably, better like a Ferrari or Porsche. In RI, you must have a motherlode, with all the corruption down there.
