A-Plans Available
Short notice, but...
My brother, who works for FoMoCo, just emailed me that he has an A-plan purchase agreement to give away. This is under the new plan extension that doesn't carry the usual family relationship requirement, so it can be used by anyone.
The catch is that purchase must be completed by Jan. 3, 2005. That pretty much means you have to take delivery out of dealer inventory.
My brother just needs an address so he can mail the papers. First come, first served, but don't take the offer unless you're serious. An A-plan is a terrible thing to waste.
My brother is going to ask around to see if anyone else has open A-plans available. He'll let me know if he finds any more, and we'll try to put them to good use.

YES. My car is scheduled to be delivered this week. I just got off the phone with the GM of my dealership...and the car is on a truck bound for CA. They expect it here before Christmas, but I am assuming before New Years for sure.
I am interested.

I don't know all the rules about A-plan purchases. Maybe someone else can clarify this point. Can an A-plan be used for an already-agreed-upon purchase? In other words, if a customer has already placed an order without A-plan, must he carry through on the order without A-plan?
If that is the case, please (1) make sure your dealer will accept A-plan orders (as Karpro said), and (2) make sure he will accept it on *your* order that was originally placed without A-plan.
If you're planning on buying off the lot and haven't started negotiations, of course, you don't have to worry about (2).
I'm not trying to be difficult, just fair.

I have to say that this is a very kind gesture on your part. I know that this is a sizable discount (I bought my wife's Escape @ D plan when I used to sell Fords and now I wish I had one handy to order an '05 Mustang vert that I've been dreaming of since I was 16). Whomever gets this early Christmas gift so consider themselves fortunate. Also make sure you give a big thank you! These are the sort of things that make me appreciate all of the other Stang lovers on this board. They go out of their way to make someone else's dream come true & all they ask for in return is lots of Pics!
It looks like FutureReb24 is getting this one. If there are any more available I would certainly be interested. I am planning on ordering soon for a spring delivery, but I might push that up if A-plan pricing were available.
Thanks Charles for this generous offer, you're going to make someone very happy this Christmas!
