Well said. +1

T, right now you're fighting for your insurance company. Your insurance company should be the ones fighting for you; that is why you pay them.

Your guy is being lazy, at best, by telling you to keep working with Geico. You are doin his job; getting his company reimbursed by another for the monies payed to fix your car instead of them having to pay out the money with no reimbursement.

Try not to let this other lady get to you too much. What would have happened if this damage occured while you were away from your car? You'd file a claim with your insurance company, an adjuster would come out and see you were clearly parked and not at fault and pay for the repair of your vehicle. So her denying it, while it is language filtered owned of her for doing so, shouldn't stop you from getting your car fixed. Your car is supposed to be ready today right? Have your insurance company pay the bodyshop and go pick it up. Let them go after Geico, your job is driving it!

I've heard of nighmare stories from insurance companys but not making you work for them.
When someone ran into my pickup I got a Police report called up my company sent them the report and the other drivers info(which is on the Police report).
Picked a body shop gave them my insurance ID and never heard from my insurance company again.

That really sucks your going threw this crap.
Your agents being lazy.
I really hope it doesnt sour you on your Stang.
But I hope you drop those SOB's when its all said and done.

Great detective work you have done. There should be no denying that vehicle hit you. It sounds like a bunch of crap you are having to go through. Good Luck to you.

You NEVER have to talk to Geico. Your insurance company hates dealing with them. It is your insurance company's job to make it right. Tell your company you are through talking to the Bast**ds and they need to take over. Give your company ammo though(all the police info).

or change to another insurance company after all this stuff. After all, you are seeing that your current company (which one) is not doing a good job.

Maybe you can take her to court

My insurance company will pay for the damage that is not the issue. I didn't take additional issuance out on my rims, so my insurance won't cover for a new set. I have to buy a new set because my current rims are discoed. So the only shot I have is to go through Geico and have them pay for everything.

I intend to give my rep a piece of my mind on Monday. He won't know what hit him.

I have so much evidence stacked against this lady, it's unreal. I have photo's, her hub cap, the police report. I had the orange lens debris from her turn signal, but the rep said I didn't need it so I left it in the street.

Don't know what else to do.

Geico did take measurements from my vehicle and hers and there's no denying math. That should be dead on.

If this goes any further, I am going to sue everyone I can.

Sorry to hear about yor accident. You may not have to get a new set of rim's. I know of a company in Bath, PA that repairs damaged rim's. They've even repaired wheels with missing sections. Thier website is www.wheelcollision.com You can even ship out your wheel's if you don't want to drive them over. Just wanted to give you something to look at if you really like your wheel's and want to keep them. Hope Everything works out.

You may have to sue. Your property was damaged by someone else's negligence. You also may want to stop talking with Gieco until you seek legal advice. If you say or do the wrong thing, they could possibly use that to hurt your case. I would at least try to find some free legal advice that may be out there.

Sorry to hear that about your wheels and all the troubles. That car will be as awesome if not better after you get it all done. Hang in there.

Does everything means the body work and the wheels, or just the wheels. It stills does not sound right. How would the Ins. Co. know what wheels where on it when it was purchased. Did they inspect the car? They could have been upgraded at the dealer when you bought it. Which would mean the wheels were a part of the car when it was insured. And even if they were not, I can't see where it would make a difference. I still feel your Ins. Co. should make this right, unless your policy states other wise about additional equipment. If it does, change companies. By the way who is your current Ins. Co.?

So I called my insurance co today and let them have it. TOLD them I feel totally alone in this and that I was doing there job. After going back and forth for a while I had them call Geico and they are going to keep calling.

So then you will never believe what happened next. Geico called me later in the afternoon and had the nerve to ask me for a physical discription of their cleint. I flipped and said when is enough evidence going to be enough and how long is this going to continue. I told them with all the evidence that I have this is insane and it's almost like everything I give them, they they to discredit. I told them I feel that I need to get a lawyer involved and that I was getting off the phone because they were making me too upset.

I called the body shop and told them, "take your time"

Man T, this sucks for you. I know you want your car for the summer to. Sounds like you need to get that lawyer and take that to small claims court. Remember though, you can still go cruising in mine, Mike or Rons car. Take your pick, supercharger or drop top fun.

Just be Patient.

Years ago a friend of mine had his car damaged while parked on the street in front of his house. He was out to dinner with his wife and came back to find the damage. Luckily a neighbor was out watering the lawn and saw everything. The police were called and after a few days they found the car. Just like here the owner denied using the car, hitting any car, damage was from years ago, etc. It went to court, and with photos of both cars, and the neighbor as an eyewitness, the court ruled for my friend. The other driver was found guility and made to pay for all the damage and lost his license because he had too many points from speeding tickets and DUI. The hit and run guy's insurance company was just fighting my friend in every turn before court. Once he won in court, everything started getting done. If you go to court, make sure you have paperwork on everything, costs to replace, and have pictures of your car before to prove how much money and work went into it.

It is tough to keep your emotions in check. Just look at the long term in that your car will be fixed and it will cost you nothing but time and emotion. In 1985 my 3 month old Monte Carlo SS was hit head on by a car that lost control on some wet road and slid into me. The other car was a compact and bounced off my front end and I had no frame damage. My work was all cosmetic thankfully. The police sited the other driver for unsafe speed, etc. I had to fight the other drivers insurance company because they wanted cheaper parts-used fenders-and I said no. He hit me. I was just the victim. Once I got the police report that had the 6 citations against the other driver, my insurance company kissed my butt and did what I wanted. It took 6 months to get my car back because it was new and parts were scarce. I still have the car 21 years later and you would never know it was wrecked because I fought for quality parts and never gave up the fight for an accident that was 100% not my doing. You do the same.

Good luck and stay positive. It might not seem like it now, but everything will go your way in the end.

Jeff

Unfortuately a lawyer will cost more than the repair probably.Just keep communication going and it should be ok. these companies are just like health insurance..they try to wear you down so you give up the fight..

Hey all, just came back from court with this chick that side swiped me. She tried to cut a with the district attorney and I rejected the deal. Now on the 8/28/06, we will take it to trial. Judge says that if she is convicted, she will be going to jail.

By the way, I got the ride back.
