Ok all, here are some pics from the body shop. They said repairs will be done at the end of the week. I have also included pics of the culprits Windstar. This story gets better by the day. The lady does have insurance (Geico) and is claiming no involment in the accident AT ALL. Even though I cased her down, ID her and the vehicle after it was impounded by the police dept. Geico is now doing a full investigation including interviewing the police as well as look at both vehicles. There is white paint on my door and tons of silve paint where she hit me. You all be the judge and take a look. I snuck by the ladies house and took these photo's other wise they would have been closer. I also sent all the photos to GEICO.

I had an accident a while back with a Geico customer in my 88 GT. Good luck with Geico. The accident was totally the other persons fault, but Geico was so difficult to deal with my insurance company had to fix my car and fight Geico. As my agent told me "thats what you pay insurance for". I hate Geico.

I am going to nail this chick to the wall tomorrow. I am going down to the police station and signing all the tickets they have for me to sign against her. I was trying to be nice and see how this was going to play out, but when you back someone in a corner whatelse do you expect them to do?

My rep told me, this lady is going to get dropped from her insurance and no one is going to want and pick her up after this.

I am glad I was not standing next to the car, as she may have hit me and kept going as well.

Get yourself a 'pocket rod'. Not a joke, that's it's name. Or you can just use a clearly legible stiff measuring tape and measure the exact height of your damages and the damages to her van. It's not to hard to line up damages within a 1/4 of an inch and it'll make your case much stronger. Take digital photos of the exact measurements and make sure you have photos of both measurements being taken from level ground - get a friend to help if necessary.

She now claims she wasn't even there? That's classic. Of course, maybe not knowing how to drive isn't her only problem.

A few years ago Car & Driver had a number of letters from readers explaining just how bad Geico is if you have any claim at all. If the other person's insurance is Geico, don't even waste the time to call them. If your insurance is Geico, they will pay and then probably drop you.

Yeah, I use to have Geico. I got a ticket and totalled my beater which did not cost them anything, since I avoided the accident all together, I lost my car and they nail me with an extra 200 per month. SO I dropped their azzzz like a bad habit.

They have a dandy animated character in their commercials.

Get closer pictures see if you can get pictures of gray paint from your car that are definetly on that van. And id do as OCD said and take pics of measurements. If I lived closer id let you use my 8megapixel canon it takes awesome shots from far off.

Its sounds as if you will be okay, she on the other hand will pay dearly, and from the way it seems, I don't have any sympathy for her at all.

What's the status on the rims? Need replacement? Bent or undamaged?

I have geico and have had nothing but good luck. Had an accident a few years ago that wasn;t my fault. I had a $500 deductable to get my car fixed. Since the accident wasn;t my fault geico fought them and a few weeks later i got a $500 check to cover the deductable!

Plus my premiums for my Mustang are dirt cheap. and my motorcycle insurance is only $100 a year!!!

Try having an accident that is your fault and see what happens.
Oh, you probably don't have teenage drivers on your policy that hit things all the time.
