So, Ford actually did do away with the neat intake cover plate on the GT? Kind of a bummer...

Congrats!! Awesome color & wheels. I've ordered the same, but like Klous, mine is still not here. Supposed to be here last week. We are now putting a locator on it. It would be nice to have it before the snow starts to fly (which could be any day the weather has been here).

Yeah! Bummer is right.
I read the cover is suppose to come out in 06, with a stripe package.
might come out this year as aftermarket

That's the exact kind of GT I'm gonna order...except was gonna get the dark charcoal but I saw the medium parchment in a GT and I changed my mind. Also got the anti theft and IUP.

I just love that color and the ride...we're deprived here in Michigan
