I'm with Grantsdale. Be careful with the dealer. Sometimes they will buy cheaper windshields from the aftermarket. They did it when my wife's focus windshield cracked - used a non-Ford windshield.

The windshield crack is a bummer, but if that's the only defect mine has when it comes in, I won't be that upset. Paint damage would be MUCH worse, IMO, and there's a few posts on this forum talking about damage from the car carrier trailer.
As far as looking the car over when you pick it up, does anyone have a checklist like this that's specific for Mustangs?
