Picked off Show Room Floor

All, this may make some of you sick, but it has made me one happy Texan. Here is the scoop:
I have been wanting one of the 2005 Mustangs ever since I saw an early picture of one in a magazine. I wanted a white one since I was driving a black FX4 that was a pain to keep clean.
I decided to search dealers around Houston for a white Mustang GT online - (I work for a company that is able to get X-plan pricing - this allows me to search dealer inventories - however, its not reliable).
Anyhow, I found several dealers that had the car I was looking for "in their inventory" only to find out that it was either on order, or sold already.
I also found VERY few that would honor the X-plan pricing. I found several that would order me one at X-plan, but not sell me one in stock (not that they had any).
So back to point - I couldn't find any near houston, until I changed my search to another ZIP code south of Houston. Turned out that their was an exact match to what I was looking for on the show room floor of a local dealership - less than 10 miles away from where I work. I drove down and bought it on the spot. I can't explain how excited I was.
Needless to say, I feel for everyone waiting for their Mustangs.

I got it for MSRP as I was told I could use X-Plan, then they backed out "since they only had one on the floor". They sold it to me for MSRP plus tinting and pinstripe.
I left at 28,100.00 (Dealer added BS added about $1000.)

Cool!
I took a road trip from Fort Worth through Austin to San Antonio last weekend. I passed 11 Ford dealerships on the way, and almost all of them had multiple 05's in stock.
I stopped at one of them and got to test drive a torch red auto GT with red interior. It was awesome!
