OMG I just loved driving it home Im in IL just out side of st louis. It started to rain on way home but car is so quite . Cant wait until the roads are dry, went straight home into garage and dryed it off not a mark on it . paint looks great!!!! It's a satin silver vert GT blk top red leather My color dash shaker 500 side air bags and alarm. Was orderd 1/14/05 Vin on 2/12/05 built on 3/14/05 delivered 3/24/05 that was fast I thought had 3.8 miles on it now has 11.5 Ill try to take some pic this weekend

Lucky man! Get those photos out.
So it was quiet in the rain? I read somewhere that someone thought it was loud, even for a vert? The top was too thin or something?
I'm hoping for a straight answer from my dealer today. I did have a build date for this week, I'm missing the perfect vert weather.

Hey Dan, the car isn't loud with the top up. Its really nice, I was actually surprised how quiet it was. With the top down you can really hear the exhaust.

Thanks for the reply, good to know. I did get to test drive one with the top down. I definitely heard the sweet rumble, but the road/wind noise was minimal. I'm really getting anxious now, the final few weeks. Although its been a long time to wait, I can't believe how fast a quarter year goes by when you keep yourself busy trying to not think about it. Back to distractions....off to a spring training game.
But wait...as I was writing this my dealer called me back, ITS ON A TRAIN! Was built earlier this week, and I should have it week of April 3rd!
