Please search next time, this topic has been done to death. People start out around 17 mpg then go to about 20-24 depending on driving styles.

My best was today, almost 5K miles. On a 26 mile trip averaging 67 mph I got 25.4 mpg with auto. Saw 25.7 for a while, but didn't last.

I'm getting 18mpg and avg speed of 30. That's about what I expected. I get 23 or so on the Highway.
For God's sake Chad, slow down before you kill someone!!

BUT, if you wanted good gas mileage, you wouldn't be buying a Stang now wouldja?
Exaaaaaactly....... amazing gas mielage was the last thing on my mind buying this car.... I already did that for over four years with my Escort.....

I'm running 87 octane and mpg has steadily been going UP...... I'm up to 19.2 average now....

heck, thinking about how often I fill up, I'm doing better than I did back when I had my '88 GT.
