What's the scoop om when the next preformance upgrades will be out for the new 'Stang? What will they be?

 

I doubt that Ford will change things very quickly. They don't usually do that. I, however, don't have any fact to base that on.

 

The only changes to expect are colors, price, and a lot more V6 bashing.

 

Rumors are more HP for 2007.
There is no need to make significant changes for 06 as Ford will sell everyone they can make w/o any upgrades.

 

I don't expect to see any changes in hp on the GT for a while, it was at 260 for quite awhile, only reason that GM bumped up the GTO hp is because they can't sell them, I still don't think they will sell that much better with the added hp.

 

i think it'll be some mild gains. like 5hp or sumthin

 

I had hoped since my own purchase was delayed, that I'd see a SE for '06 that would fall somewhere between 300 and 400 hp, but if they didn't tell us anything at the Detroit, and we're already hearing about the 07 Cobra, I guess it's not gonna happen. Good thing I'm happy with the 300 hp GT cause that's what its gonna be!

 

IMO - No increase in 06 on the hp.
