Hey, I usually drive but I happened to sit in the passenger seat when my buddy drove and I could barely see over the dash. I am 6 feet tall and felt like I was 7 years old again riding with my grandfather in his Big Buick. My wife is 5'5" tall and says the same thing. Is there some way to elevate the seat height higher?? :scratch: Ford is supposed to correct this in future Stangs but........

 

Now lookin for command seating here. That's the way cars were back in the (My) day. Just like my 68, 69 and 72 were. I love the O5 completely. My wife is 5'3" its her car she loves just the way it is.

 

well get this.... nothing happened... only a few people have sat in the passenger seat... and i'm cleaning the leather yesterday on the passanger side sead and there is a 1-inch razor type cut in the lower side bolster...????

There is no way anyone could have done this unless it came like that from the factory..

 

Remember the driver seat has a height adjuster. So maybe your driver seat is set higher than the passenger seat.

But my wife is 4' - 11". Imagine how much of a hard time she has seeing out the passenger seat.

Sounds like you have a defective Stang. I would take it back to the dealer ASAP. I am 6 ft. as well and I can see very well out of the passengers seat. My wife is 5.5 and she can see as well.

Maybe, whoever took off the plastic seat covers used a blade. Could happen, unless you took them off.

 

I got to enjoy my passenger seat for the first time during my road trip.
I observed:
Its very roomy over there
Its very comfy for naps-the seat is frigging great. I slept from Roanoake to Winchester Va.
It sits low but its sooooooo comfy.
You can communicate with other drivers over there. As a matter of fact, a mitsu spyder came upon our butt when we were going home Friday somewhere in Virginia, He started showing off. B. Showed him who was boss, next thing I knew his girlfriend in the passenger seat was giving him hades for acting a fool. I got to point and laugh. I actually enjoyed the passenger seat.

On the other side.... B. Despised the driver seat. he said it was too tight over there, hes 6'2. Perhaps it was our 11 year old in back that didn't allow the seat to go all the way......But he swears he will never drive it again. More seat time for me

 

I noticed a big scratch on my passenger seat a couple of months after delivery. I thought maybe one of my passenger had done it but checking it closely there was some kind of adhesive on it like a repair had been done to hide it. Showed this to my dealer and t hey are changing the seat cover. No arguments. I figure maybe they were the ones who had done it and didn't think I would notice... Anyway you should try and show this to your dealer.

 

You can't say no way anyone could have done that because you did have people sit in that seat. Anything is possible.

 

ehh, whoe cares about the passengers. Just tell them to look out the window and watch everything go by in one big BLUR! hehe
