As for the clear coat I used Johnson outboard motor clear coat. Someone else had posted that they contacted express paint to see if they made a caliper paint and they said that as long as the prep was done properly that it should hold up. It's supposed to be automotive paint and when you spray it it smells like auto paint and not spray paint so assuming it is it should hold up as good as the factory paint in the engine compartment hopefully. Only time will tell but I think it will be OK.

Id like to do them to but I hate to take them off and end up with an oil leak. Does anyone know if it is a reusable rubber gasket or is it paper/cork that would have to be scrapped off and replaced?

Do you mean the intake plumbing that I haven't replaced with a CAI because I'm waiting for my supercharger?
