I've read that a claybar can remove overspray.

That's a shame. Bumpers should be removed from the car when painted. That's unexcuseable. I'd take it back and demand they fix it... what a load of crap

Sorry this has happened to you.

While a claybar works wonders on overspray.... its work that you shouldn't have to do. The bumpers shouldve been removed... you should've demanded they removed before you let them have her. ON another note.... is it worth letting them mess with your car anymore??? Or do you wanna try the clay bar then give them a good cussing too??? If not, take it back and let them deal w/ it.

Well she is back at the dealer and he is going to clay the entire car. Also sales manager told me he would throw in a bra for all my headaches.

If it is not done right this time I may finally snap.

Hopefully you get her back by the weekend, have good weather and can pile some wax coats on there after the claying??? Errr ummmm can you wax it tho since the new paint? Or maybe you can just not wax the bumpers? Hope its right this time.

DONT USE THE BRA.. its the worst thing you can put on a car... When driving it vibrates - even when tight and acts like sand paper... it will scratch the crap out of your paint because dust and dirt build up under it -especially in the rain.

Claybar will only do the paint, I'd bet you probably want the overspray off the Glass too.

a Gas soaked rag works good for that, just make sure that you wash the car or at least rinse the whole car well after you are done.

I had to claybar my hole car as some weiner decided to paint his office building and covered my red car in white spray paint.

Took like 12 hours to remove it, cloean the glass and reway the entire car.
