Hello All-

I have been lurking here while saving my pennies for a Mustang GT. Can anyone recommend a dealer in the Chicagoland area, preferably the southwest suburbs, that is taking the X-Plan on GT orders? The dealers I have spoken to so far tell me how lucky I should feel that they will sell me a car at sticker price, but I would rather spend the difference on mods.

I got an xplan on my 06 GT and ordered it through Middleton Ford in Middleton Wisconsin. Middleton is a suburb of Madison and only ~3 hr drive from CHicago. I save over $2k off MSRP!

I ordered mine xplan from Ottawa Ford Lincoln Mercury. 06 GT and I picked it up last Saturday already. 45 min drive but worth it

 

Yeah, After I ordered my 06 from VAnDruned in Homewood in May. (X-Plan) Then few months later I ran into Joe Z. (I work next door). (And he worked for me at one time!) He told me he could do an 06 "order" on Xplan. He is the Mustang guru! He called me when they got a Tungsten in and invited me to come check it out knowing I ordered from somewhere else. Now that was cool! To top it off he drove me down the street back to work in his GT. Making it my 1st ride in one.

Capper Ford in Williamsburg IA honored my xplan no questions asked with nothing down at order time. Not sure if you want to go that far, but it would be a good scenic drive back home in your new ride.

Thanks all for the input. I decided to place my order with ISELLFORD. From all his postings, he sounds to be very good at what he does and should be rewarded for all the work he does here.

I am getting a Torch Red GT, automatic, spoiler delete, side airbags and IUP. Now I can go from obsessing over what to order to "Did I order the right stuff?" and "When will my car get here?"
