I ordered my black gt with the alluminum bullits on Columbus Day (October 10, 2005) and like the rest of you I wait and wait.........I have tried calling ERL but I don't have the dealer code and they wont give it up----any ideas on how i can get it other than asking the dealer?

I called my salesman but he just told me its getting built, which is not a bad thing but I want to know more!!

Also, can anyone give info. on priority code 11?

Thanks everybody!

The dealer code can be found on your DORA. If I remember right the dealer code listed on the form is five numbers and one letter. Remove the letter and you have the dealer code.
You can also find the dealer code by driving down to your dealer and looking at the window sticker on one of the cars on the lot.

I ordered my Mustang on October 20 2004, with an ETA of 6 weeks per my salesman (time from order to delivery). On November 4 I went back to the dealer to get a copy of my DORA and VIN number, and to give the dealer a small deposit on the car. When I looked at the DORA I found my order was a Priority-20, and when I asked the salesman about that he said 'your car is already being built as of 10/27 so the Priority number doesn't mean anything'.

When I got home I called Ford and was told my car was on a Temporary Delay in Production, and the car remained in that status until early December when it was scheduled for build.
Car was built December 14 and came home on the 28th.

In regard to your priority number...10 is the best you can get, 99 is the worst. In your case it looks like the dealer might have one car ahead of yours.

Unless there is no number 10 and he is first.

Hope you get your Mustang as promised. I ordered mine on Oct 17th and I picked it up on Nov 30th. I had a p/10 but there is no real differance between 10 & 11. You could have checked the progress on another web site. http://www.blueovalforums.com/index.php Go to Ford Employees and the 2006 Mustang status. You have to register and ask Kzinti for your final print out. I had a PDF of my window sticker before the car was built. You should have see the look on my dealers face when I brought that in. Go back to Nov 5th build date posts and see the progress. What did you order? Post a pic when you get it.
Have Fun!

Thanks for the information...If I only had it about two months ago lol...Well today is the day it is to arrive, I will wait a few hours to get a call from the dealer but if I don't hear from them they will surely hear from me.

I ordered a 2006 black GT with the 18'' bullits, manual, shaker 1000.....cant wait...just hope I get it before santa claus gets here....

Thanks again for the information.

It finally arrived, it took me a while to get a picture on here, I've been out driving for a week straigt..... I love it.

I do have some bad news though, my GT didn't arrive with the 18" bullits I ordered it with. According to my dealer Ford ran out of at the factory. They put on some 18" polished fan blades. Hey atleast my GT is finally here and the fan blades aren't a bad choice.....

Well there was some confusion with the 18 in wheels a couple months ago with which wheel was what. The dealer gave you a BS excuse....they would have held the car up till they had the Bullett wheels back in stock at the factory.

Congrats on getting your Mustang. I know you are going to be very Happy with it
On the 18" Bullitts, if you are happy with the fans thats ok, but I would tell the dealer to order a set of Bullits. Someone made a mistake and you should not have to pay for it. I know it is hard to see the rims from the drivers seat, and I think you will be spending a lot of time there
