Is there a way to use the 800 number to check the status of an order if you do not have a DORA or VOC and if so can someone PM me the phone number?

 

If you have the order number and the dealer number you can call. Honestly though, I would worry more about getting those two documents than talking to the computer lady at this point. Who cares if the car is coming if they ordered the wrong car?

 

Karpo, I can't get the dealership to produce those documents. That's the problem. Th GM called me this morning and said I would not get those documents until Ford alloted and pulled for that order on Thursdays.

Order placed 03/05/05 tried all week with dealership to get some kind of order verification.

 

Well you should have received a VOC upon placing the order. If they place their orders every Thursday it should have been placed 3/10 and the DORA should have been today. You should have both the DORA and the VOC as of today.

If the dealer is withholding the documents he's being a jerk. :nono:

 

I got my VOC the night I ordered, he printed it out and had me go over everything it said to make sure it was as we discussed.

I asked for the DORA later and they didn't give that to me, but I was able to get the true order number so I was able to call the system, the VOC just had 1111 as a placeholder I assume.

 

He's wrong. You are only less than a week into this, I might want to consider a more "accomodating" dealer.
