when were orders first taken for the 05 mustangs, and how soon did those ppl that ordered around that date get their cars? thanks for any info

 

First orders for verts were 10/1 I ordered 11/6 see sig below still waiting.

 

Sorry to bust your bubble, but vert orders were taken by dealerships at any time but were not submitted till the beginning of the year.
i placed my order in november but wasnt submitted till jan 05 05

 

I think it was may 17th of 04. I don't know how long the orders took though.

Nope have to disagree. Ordered 11/6 got a DORA on 11/8 which means the order was placed and in Ford's database. Took me many dealers before they would place the order even though I had the order codes. (Thanks Mustang Source) just didn't have pricing. Worked that out as MSRP and not a penny more in writing and went with it.

Wow, maybe my dealership did put the order in at that time. i have a delivery date from Ford Motor Company of March 18th.
When do you get yours?

 

actually one of our members, cyoda i think, he ordered 12/03 and got in in september 04. hes the 1st member to have a 2005 mustang. his order took long because he ordered WAY before the car came out

 

Maybe they did order it for you. I'm just bummed a little because of other people getting theirs delivered and I still don't have a firm date yet but I know it's getting close.

According to the Customer Service number I called today they said scheduled delivery is between 3/7 and 3/18. It will probably be the later because as of today the VOPC said as of 3/2 scheduled to be built week of 2/28.

I still have the DORA from when I ordered and it says "HOLD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE - AVAIL FOR ORDER 4TH QTR 2004, JOB 1 - 1ST QTR 2005"

Not yelling just typing exactly as it says.

 

We are in the home stretch now steve. any day now.
