Opinions on options
They were designed for the mustang in mind..
i can't find them anywhere on Pirelli's site (yet)
But the BFGoodrich 18" KDW's are a slick looking tire/tread and would have been awsome.
Oh well.

I think its TONS of car for under 28k loaded. The 05 will most likely be the same price it is now, considering the additional componetry(all aluminum 3v V8, 31 spline axles, etc)its THOUSANDS cheaper then whats on lots now.
as for BMW's???? friggin 26k for the base model 3, to 57,000 for the loaded M3 vert. rediculous. Does it even match GT's horsepower?

"American suck."
"It still can't out handle an M3."
"The BMW 3.3L I6 is superior."
"Why is that all the major car mags say the M3 is the best?"
Arg! He had the nerve to call the 05 ugly. He won't even touch an American car "Because the plastics feel cheap...". Screw that. He can stay with his stupid I drive and shove it up his a@@! Stang all the way! BMW I6 have no torque, no torque = no *****! Ford 4.6L V8s got torque and run on regular! hahahaha!
I randomly grabbed back issues of Motor Trend, Car & Driver, and Automobile. I only found a Pirelli ad in Automobile, but these weren't current issues. In C&D, the Tire Rack lists the P Zero Nero at $157 for the P245/40YR-17, and $187 for the 235/40ZR-18.

saleens come with the pirelli's so they must make good tires. as for the extra options it would cost more at the dealership or from ford. you know everyone is out to make a dollar so the options would cost more than if you went with them from the aftermarket. and all these extra options would make it a nightmare for production. the reason BMW and some of them can offer these items if b/c they are low volume cars. i mean how many M3's does bmw sell a year??? surely not 180,000+ and for the individual aspect of the options.......everyone would have the same option as you got to choose from. where not everyone will go with the same aftermarket brand. just my 2.......maybe 4 cents worth
Ive had low profile pirelli's a few times,,,,,,,only downside i had were they dont last very long for treadlife for highway. But for city or performance they are pretty good IMO (also what i hear). I ended up getting cheaper highway tires due to the fact i couldnt keep paying for them though.
And just to prove my earlier point----you guys should check out the latest Car & Driver. In the back they have an article on the Ford Falcon.a pretty BAD hiney car with an available 5.4 DOHC V8, HID lights, Navigation and so on....for around $36K. WHY doesnt Ford spoil us like this..............please someone make them give us an answer!!!!!!
