Oil Dipstick Popping Out

Oil Dipstick Popping Out
My supercharged (Stock Bottom End) 471 RWHP 2006 GT oil dipstick pops out at least 4 inches while hard driving. I know this means excessive pressure in the crankcase. I have read the first thing to do is to check the PCV valve. Am I correct to say 06 doesn't have one, just 2 unrestricted tubes? If this is correct am I safe to assume my engine is in big trouble due to blow by? Should I stop driving it? If so what are my options? Any help would be appreciated….

What kind of supercharger and how do you have you PCV lines hooked up? The PCV is built into the drivers side cam cover only, the pass side is just a baffled tube. Your best bet is to do a leak down test and see if you have a weak cylinder causing your blowby.

Whipple supercharger with the Steeda 10 rib belt kit. The PVC are stock location, one leading to Intake tube and the other to the Valve cover. Thanks for the info on the Leak Down test……I'll have to do some homework on that. Is that something a shop has do to?

There is no 'valve' in the PCV tube on the 4.6L3V, which is why so many install an Oil Separator. Though there are baffles underneath both cam covers, they do nothing to restrict the vapor.
Besides noticing the dipstick, are you starting to use oil?
If this is a recent change, then I suspect a broken ring.
My old F150 started pushing the dipstick out shortly before it started using a lot of oil (with smoke) and it wound up being a broken ring that was allowing excessive crankcase pressure that the PCV (an actual one way valve back in '83) probably did its job to block, resulting in blowing the dipstick out about an inch or two.
Yours being supercharged exaggerates the issue.

Mine was too... at first. All I noticed initially was the dipstick being pushed up for a few weeks or so.
A compression testing kit with leak down fittings would be worthwhile IMO. You might even be able to rent them but I don't think owning is too expensive.
Not too difficult - pull all the plugs so it cranks easy, follow directions and test one hole at a time. It helps you determine whether is there is a leakage at rings or valves or AOK.
Good luck!

A Man Just Needs Some....
I think the vapors have nowheres to go. The pcv system or vapor tubes just to to an already pressurized intake. Just run a separator going to the atmosphere with a filter. It will not smell great sometimes but there's not many options unless you pipe it in before the blower which may pull some oil into your blower even with filters and separators.
