Everything is settled, signed and ordered. My Priority Number is 40, even though they said I am the first to order one from them... Should I be worried? This will be the 4th car I bought from them, so I trust them ( I just bought a 2005 Escape Limited a week ago), so I know I am in good hands, I just wondered. They said delivery to be 8 - 10 weeks.

Thanks for helping to calm my nerves.

There was a thread in here yesterday about different priority codes, as long as it's not 99 you're probably ok.

Ponygirl,

Congrats on the order! You'll probably get to drive yours before I get in mine! I have 8 1/2 more weeks to go.

I look at it this way, my order is in, and there is absolutely nothing I can do to make it arrive any earlier. It will be here when it gets here. The sooner it gets here, the sooner the Dealer gets my money, so it's in their best interest to get it here as soon as they can.

I understand everyone's exitement, but I think some people are going overboard trying to second guess everything.

But that's just me

True that "super stallion"...I didnt even know what a "priotity" was until this site. I am just happy to have ordered one, and I will wait patiently until the day comes.
I look at it this way, if I get it in December, I wont be driving it much anyway in the Missouri snow, so.....( but I could look at it in the garage everyday).
I just hope the dealer does me right. My final price was $25,505.55 for:2005 Mustang GT Deluxe
Screaming Yellow w/ Dark Charcoal Interior
5 speed Auto
IUP ( Interior Upgrade package)
17' Birhgt Aluminum wheels
Paid $300 over Invoice and the racing stripes were free.
I think I did pretty good!!

Now the waiting........and dreaming.........at least I have this web sight to keep me occupied for 8 - 10 weeks!
racing stripes installed by dealer

We are second guessing everything because some dealers/salesmen are not that honest and if you are not that informed...it is possible to be taken advantage of. Just read here on this forum, we have already had reports of some people getting screw ed.

If you are having the stripes dealer installed, be aware that the stripes don't go all the way down to the bumper, they tend to just not look right ... if you are going to spend the money on them, you might as well go to a paint shop and get it done right.

I have seen pics of the racing stripes, and I like them. PLUS,. I am having the dealer purchase them and install them for FREE. I have no desire to go to a body/pint shop and have someone paint them on, and have them not look good, plus it costs a lot more money that way. I am happy with my choice!! :P

Plus you can take them off if you dont like them that way. Personally I am not a fan of them. Well except the one that everyone has shown on here thats the white car with the blue stripes.
