Odd hole in trunk under carpet
So I managed to pick up a screw in my rear tire last week. Didn't know if it punctured so I went ahead and swapped on the spare. When I took out the trunk floor/carpet, on the right side, there is a nice HOLE in the trunk floor, patched up with what I assume is bondo or something. It's a white filler. Almost looks like someone missed the mark with a drill or punch machine. I would attach a picture but my batteries are still charging. I don't think I can do anything, I mean the metal is gone. Just wanted to give a heads-up and see if anyone else caught the runaway drill like my pony did.

897 miles, sure beats driving my 1993 Probe GT.
Here is a view, bit blurry but shows it pretty good.
Well, guess I can't load the image. It's almost 600k, I keep getting an error on file size exceeded for posting.
Ok figured it out, should be on here now.

It was a bullit hole !
or just maybe a drain for any moisture ? if you notice on ecah side wheel well in rear there is a small vent where the side marker is , btw thats not how to get at the bulb the red reflector prys out the front of the car end first, now those thingys inside are vents so as it does not get to humid in there .

Id noticed under the carpet tyhere were 1/4 inch holes on both sides of my trunk floor that had what appeared to be clear tape covering them, from underthe vapor canister cover...
did you see the "you might want to look under your car" thread- I found a lot of gaps in seam sealer under one side of my trunk, and really didnt want any water getting in there.
from the pic you posted, I cant see the hole- is there any chance it was just a sloppy blob of seamsealer that got smeared in there?

Well the "hole" is what I assume the white filler is there to cover. Just seems odd to me that there isn't metal there at all..
