Above all else, get what you want.

Anything else will make you think of what you should have done.

I agree..... You don't want to be looking back and seeing what you may/may not have left on the table. Jon put it best in a post that 'Life is Short', and no guarantee's of how long that life lasts...... The overall cost of the car over it's life has been discussed......so how much $$$ value to you put on the FUN factor and enjoyment it brings??? Personally the GT was the best choice for me....and I did give alot of serious thought to the V-6 as well. I've had my fair share of 'Settling For' over the first half of my life.......not the second half.

If you want the GT you will be kicking yourself if you get the V6. It is not taking that long to get a GT. You can order one or start going around to lots that already have them. A 72 month loan will only lower your monthly payments but you will be paying a lot more in interest. If you can afford paying the extra $$$/mth for the 60 month loan I'd go for that.
look at it this way. im 17 going on 18 and im getting a GT. i havent even considered a v6. i drove my friends 2004 v6 and theres a lack of power. i know u cant compare them to the 05 GT. but test driving the GT and driving my friends v6......the thrill in the v6 isnt there. wouldnt u just hate to have to convince urself that the v6 is what u really wanted even tho u know deep down u want a GT?? now im not an adult and everything but i worked soo hard for this car and ive wanted it since january and im finally getting mine. if u really want it finance it over 72 months and pay it off faster with larger monthly payments. ur credit will go up and ull have it payed off faster. use anything to lower ur insurance too. if u play ur cards right everything will go ur way good luck

usually NO

the increase in interest usually negates the savings

usually the payment drops by a couple bucks when going from 60 to 72 months

$500 more... That is the biggest crock of B.S. I changed my order plenty of times, and never got docked a $$$ fee.....it's not costing him anything to re-do your order. It's entirely possible that it's a price code thing, but none of us have gotten anything substantiated by Karpro on this.....

that's what i thought, but he said he would place the order under price level 515 or whatever. His reasoning was that it was easier to sell the GT... o well, back to lookin for another dealer.

if anyone knows of a dealer accepting x plan or $500 over invoice in the dallas area, PLEASE let me know.

thanks
