Noisy fuel solenoid?

Noisy fuel solenoid?

Anyone else experiencing a loud click (could be the fuel solenoid) from under the car when accelerating and letting off the gas. I wouldnt think a fuel solenoid would make that much noise. I can Really hear it in the car and im afraid what it would sound like outside. Its almost embarassing. Took it to the dealer and he gave me a Huge

A/C Compressor? That thing clicks really loud.

+2 on the A/C compressor, didn't think of that. It kicks off when you hit the gas hard, then after you let off, it will kick back on and click pretty loud.

Well. It does it even going from 2000 to 3000 in 3rd. And i RARELY have the A/C on, let alone ANY climate controls ( Power Windows work Great ! But i guess the compressor would still be running ? or not ?

Get out of the car while it's running and pop the hood. Watch the AC compressor to see when it goes on and off and see if that's the clicking you're hearing.

Well if you don't have the A/C on the compressor will not be making any noise, simple as that. Try an experiment and see what happens. Try it with the A/C on, then off.
