No Vin # Yet

No, we didn't actually spell out an agreement. This particular dealer is really a "good ole' boy" dealer. He told me, "I'll treat you fair." I do believe him to an extent. He didn't require a deposit and even went to the extent to tell me that if we didn't like the car after we drove it, we didn't have to take it. To answer your question, I did order the car without knowing what I was going to pay. It sounds a bit naive, but I suppose you would have to know the kind of dealer I'm working with. Trucks is what they really sell. Maybe I'm glutton for punishment or maybe I'm just trusting this guys word. He knows that I know more about the car then he does. I suppose time will tell. I appreciate your response!

Too bad ford didn't call the GT something else cause just about everyone refers to their Mustang GT as simply.....I own a 2005 GT. Very confusing especially when you are in a Mustang forum and someone just says 05 GT.

I agree. I told someone I was getting a Mustang GT and he got all exicted. His eyes shot so far out they almost hit me. He said: "you mean the $180,000 one!!!!"
I quickly corrected him. As much as I would like the GT40, it is a Mustang GT instead. But I have no complaints about owing a 05GT.
